2. What do you mean by term 'Education'? What are its different agencies? Discuss the

significance of peer group in education.  [ 8+4+8 Marks ]

3. Define Pragmatism. Compare its aims and methods with Naturalism.  [ 5+15 Marks ]

What are the different schools of Indian Philosophy? Discuss educational significance

of any one in detail.  [ 8+12 Marks ]

UNIT - III

4.'Equality in education is treated as Equality of Opportunities.' Comment and support

your answer with suitable constitutional provisions.  [ 20 Marks ]

OR

What do you mean by the term 'Empowerment ?' How education can become instrument of

empowerment?  [ 6+14 Marks ]

UNIT - IV

5. What do you mean by globalization and Modernization ? Discuss their advantages and

disadvantages in present global scenario. 10+10 [ 20 Marks ]

How do you visualize the significance of Vocationalisation of education for the economic

development of a country like India?  [ 20 Marks ]
